I have a cat who means just the same to me, but heaven isn't the final resting place for animals. Remember the good times, allow for time to heal and find a new dog at some point whom possibly even reminds you of Tittus.. This too will pass in due time.... Sorry for your loss.

Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry. It's so hard to lose a good pet.

Although I have no theological proof, I do believe that good dogs go somewhere where their loyalty and big-heartedness will be rewarded. A doggy heaven at the very least. And I think our dogs will be just as glad to see us as as we are to see them.

I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Dogs get nothing in any of the major religions. I have birds, cats, and rats and accept their deaths as part of change in the universe. I have lost too many friends in the military and have learned to smooth out the pain.

You have the sympathy of all here except for one religious bigot (Mister Brimstone above).

I am so sorry!!! there is nothing like the love of a pet. please read the rainbow bridge story..and check out Sylvia Browns theoies about animals and heaven. theres going to be alot of tears, but rest assured, Titus is playing ball in Heaven..and someday will be waiting for you!!

Unfortunately, as an atheist, I don't have the advantage of consoling you with an afterlife, either for you or for him. But I do have the advantage of believing that his life is worth no more, and no less than anyone else's, so I am sorry for your loss, and in a very genuine way. I'm sorry, I'm sure that you loved him no less than you would a dear human friend.

You may not have a place in Heaven but a place on the flame to suffer the penalty of what you are doing now.
