If it's ordinary weight 8 1/2" x 11" paper, four sheets plus the envelope will go for 39c. Obviously different size paper will have a different weight. And the post office decides the rate by weight, with (for now) 39c for the first ounce and 24c for each additional ounce.

Anyway, you're okay with four regular pages. Five might go, might not, depending on the thickness of the paper. Over five and your recpient will have to pay postage due or it will be returned to you.

Three loose-leaf pages...- or four pages of smaller Stationary.

well, YOU may want to pay in how many pages, but the way it works is by weight.but if it fits in a regular envolpe, your probably ok
