For about two weeks, I've noticed that I get sick after eating - usually, if I eat anything heavy. The nausea occurs a half hour after eating, and usually lasts for that long. I don't vomit, though, even if I try. I have no prior health problems, and this happens randomly (but I notice it happens more in the evening). Before, I used to be able to eat ANYTHING, and in huge amounts. I'm 17, and my mom is the type who won't take me to the doctor unless I'm practically vomiting blood or unconscious. Any possibilities of what it could be? I'd think food poisoning, but I'm perfectly fine unless I eat (and even if I eat non-junky food, I'm usually ok).

Here is what I remember getting nauseous from:

* A McDonald's Fish Filet thing
* A homemade tortilla-eggplant-homemade tomato sauce "pizza"
* Broccoli & Cauliflower dipped in tomato/pepper/eggplant dip.
* Hot Cheetos

Think I better mention this: I am *NOT* pregnant. I'm a virgin, never beyond kissing.

Maybe the fat content/cheese not agreeing with your stomach? Try this home remedy (its a bit spicy):
Mix together 1 inch piece of fresh ginger mashed + juice of one lemon + a little sugar if you like - take when you feel sick.

Just tell your Mom you MUST go. You are her baby, if you tell her how bad it is, she will understand hon. Anything with your digestive system can even take a Dr. a while to figure out.
This is really not the place to be looking for true medical advice. Don't worry, you are really young. You may even have to press your Dr. a bit for an answer, but insist. He will mentally write a lot of things off just because you ARE so young. But keep pressing. When you feel nauseous, eat a low salt saltine cracker. I have had many problems in that area and it may sound funny, but it was the only thing that has ever worked for me. Even when I was pregnant!!
Good Luck hon. Get tough with that MOM!!!
And to be honest-everything on your list, would have made me sick. Just too heavy! And yes, my first thought was she is pregnant! Of course! Boy am I glad you are not!!!! Save that one for a lot later!!! : )

Constant nausea can be a sign of many different things. The most common is GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease). It should be checked out because some things that cause nausea can get worse with time. It won't save your Mom any money to wait until it's more serious! The fact that to seems to occur with high fat and acid producing foods is a clue for your doctor too. Check it out. http://www.clevelandclinic.org/health/health-info/docs/1800/1810.asp?index=8106

probably too much acid in your stomach, maybe an ulcer. drink a little milk that could help or buy some prilosec or pepcid, if it continues insist that your mom take you to the dr because you dont want to get a bleeding ulcer.
