actually this conflct is only about 60 years old. Jews and arabs lived peacefully in the holyland before the state of israel.

Not until the U.S. puts real pressure on them to.
And the U.S. could - apparently we largely subsidize Israel. There is a powerful Jewish (and sympathetic Christian) lobby in this country however, so it probably won't happen anytime soon. Too bad, because it's a big and necessary step towards having better relations with the Arab world (and ending the suffering of the Palestinians, of course).
And think about this: if we (the West) don't solve this problem on our terms while we can, there may come a day when the Arab world solves it on theirs.
This is the real elephant in the middle of the room. By allowing this obvious injustice to continue indefinitely it makes the West a bunch of hypocrites.

no because if they did they would be calling god a liar. you see god actually came down from heaven and told them face to face that all of that land was theirs, they are just obeying god by occupying that space. and murdering thousands of men women and childeren and displacing or imprisioning thousands more is just gods way of expressing his love for all of humanity through them. you see it's okay to kill your fellow man if god told you to do it thousands of years ago, i thought that was obvious. anyone who argues with the this is arguing with god and is an anti-semite, you see these people can do no wrong no matter what because if you bring it up you are being prejiduce. kind of like if you saw a black man shoot someone and reported it, that would make you a rasist by this logic wouldn't it. well i am no rasist and i trust that god most certianly did speak directly to these people and that god wants them to kill and imprison these people in his name, why else would they do it? after all they are the choosen people. look into how many times the united nations has tried to stop israel from doing the things that they do(65 plus). i think all of you should stop watching fox news and do some research as to what is really happening over there, look at the united nations web site maybe, unless you think that the united nations is full of anti-semites now.

He was an ally of Adolf Hitler, and it was his ambition to expel all Jews from the area known as the Holy Land. His spiritual successors have carried on the tradition.

No, Israel can't...although it tried to share West Bank with Palestinians a few years ago but it became a launching pad for attacks against Israelist. I think Israel has learned a lesson, that is, West Bank is so strategic for Israel's defense against its enemies.

I don't think so...They say they would,but in the same time they continue taking land from the Palestinians in order to enlarge the settlements and build new ones...
And Israel expects everyone to believe that they build those settlements in order to leave them in a few years so the Palestinians could have their own state...Yeah right...

No. They fought long and hard for this and as soon as things settle down a little bit they will be expanding again. The country has grown like a cancer since in inception at the end of WWII. The small area Great Britain gave them to found Israel was not Great Britain's to give in the first place.

I guess the Arabs shouldn't have started a war they couldn't win, remember the 6 day war the Arabs lost. What counties give back land they won in wars.
