There is this girl which even strangers says stares at me all the time. She has told me she thinks I'm an egomaniac yet she loves to flirt with me. What's up?

It sounds familiar to me. I did the same thing one time.
There was this guy and he was really hot. I mean hotter than the sun but OMG. He was such a player.
I used to stare at him, hoping he wouldn't notice. I couldn't help it. He was just gorgeous but no girl in her right mind would go out with him unless she was just begging to get hurt. Dumped the next day for someone else, so to speak.
That might be what's going on here. She finds you attractive and maybe even sexy but is terrified of the idea of going out with you.
She probably can't help flirting with you because you're so attractive physicly. She might not even be aware that she IS flirting. If she cuts you down, I'll bet it is an attempt to convince herself outloud that she doesn't want you. m I'll also bet she would give anything if you were a little softer around the emotional edges.
I have the feeling you are a babe.

when she tells you she thinks your an egomaniac take that as a compliment....say something like....."Im glad you like it". but yes girls dont like egomaniacs, would you date a broad that was so full of herself and was very vain.....I knew you wouldnt! relax on the ********* and learn to be more playful. stay confident though but believe Me when I tell you that theres better guys out there......#1 example is Me.....how do I know, cuz your asking this question and if you had your game together you would'nt be asking such a simple question ....play on player!

to answer your first question, no, I wouldnt want to have anything to do with a guy like that.
i dont really know why the girl is acting like that. It might be that you're misinterpreting her actions. I've known some guys i really dont give a damn about and they think that i liked them. It could either be your overactive imagination or the girl is just wierd.

i might take the same old guy over the cocky guy any day. i will appreciate the same old guy. I advise, if he has no self assurance it somewhat is not the main beautiful element, yet cocky sickens me, in my opinion.
