I have a small/recessive chin and that's because I have an overbite. My upper teeth covers about 90% of of my lower teeth when I bite. If I get braces to fix my overbite, would that also fix my chin so that it stands out more?

THIS MAY INVOLVE BRACES OR BRACES AND SURGERY OF YOUR UPPER JAW, CALLED A Le FORT PROCEDURE. THIS HAS TO DO WITH WHETHER OR NOT THERE IS A SKELETAL COMPONENT AS TO WHY YOU HAVE THIS OVERBITE. PLEASE HAVE AN ORTHODONTIST EVALUATE YOUR BITE AND GIVE YOU HIS/HER OPINION AS TO THE BEST COURSE OF ACTION TO TAKE.

Braces, go to an orthodontist a get it checked out. Braces are the only thing that can move teeth. Trust me I had this already.
Braces just affects the mouth so no chin problems !

You should see an orthodontist for his/her opinion. You should see at least 2-3 as their treatment plans may differ. Most orthodontists offer consultations for little to no fee. I also have an overbite and I am getting braces in 3 weeks. I wish you the best of luck.

it will help, but you may need a chin implant to balance your face if it is overly recessed and the look bothers you
