I asked a question earlier regarding me getting my hair done this weekend. Now I have another question. I've recently just heard of the term "baylage" highlights <--not sure about spelling...

Since my hair will be a rich chocolate brown, would it be a good idea to go w/ baylage highlights? I've always wanted to go a little lighter but my eyebrows are dark and therefore my color has to be dark.

Also, I should mention that I'm asian since it might effect the appearance of the colors on me. However, i don't look completely asian like Lucy Liu..I'd say slightly tanner and I'm often mistaken for European Asian. Hopefully that helps.

I think if you have chocolate brown hair it would be good to do highlights, but just be sure to not go further then 3 shades lighther then your natural color if you're going for a natural look. Don't forget lowlights as an option.

I think dark hair really compliments an Asian skin tone and I think it would be a bad idea to go too light.

Good luck with whatever you choose!!!

This is a link to learn more about balayage. You can have your eyebrows lightened to match your hair better. I have platnim hair and I lighten my brows with the same bleach- very carefully! Brows lift faster than hair on head so be careful.

You know you CAN lighten your eyebrows. They just tell you not to because it's bad to get bleach in your eyes, but if you're careful and use a cream that won't drip then it's fine!
