I think the real question is why America could judge Sundance on his song choice (Jeremy). I admit that he totally messed up by picking that song, but we all saw his performance last week, and he kicked a*s*s. His talent's still there even if "Jeremy" didn't showcase it well. Very sad. He's in my top three overall personally. Well, I think he's got a career ahead of him, and I'm sure labels have their eyes on him. Go Sundance!!
P.S. I've heard several people say that the teeny boppers are on Sanjaya's side, but I have to wonder - if they're mostly girls who are crazy about him, do they really think he'd consider them his type??? This guy HULAS, for Christ's sake!

Because he is cute and sweet and is getting through on his personality and looks alone...he has all the little teeny boppers voting for him...although I really think he has talent, but he just hasn't had enough experience and doesn't know how to pick the right songs and just doesn't know how to perform...he needs more experience and some vocal lessons and I think he will do good. Although there were definitely some better singers who were passed over tonight that shouldn't have been...

He has the type of family that goes on for miles! They all just call in along with the 13 year olds over and over again. With a big family like that he is sure to not get voted off. Plus, he looks Indian. Since all of our phone call taking jobs are in India now he probably has fans there and they have connections with the phones and probably rig them somehow.

I don't know!! Seems like every season there is some guy who hangs in there much longer that he should...remember SCOTT!! We can only hope that Sanjaya goes soon, much better folks on the show than him for sure.

ugh!! I hate Sanjaya! last time he sung i could barely hear him! every season there is some guy that stays longer than they should- John Stevens from season 3(crooner who couldn't sing anything else, Scott Savol, from season 4, and the chicken little guy from last season!

Good question, sundance should have stayed hes tight but sunjaya is a bit of a fruit and hes too young

I do not know how he America could vote for him. He can sing a little bit but his voice is not strong enough to carry him through.
Just know this--There is no way he is going to win!!
