I worked for two of these lying tarrot card readers already. They take your money and laugh behind your back, talked on the phones to their parents and friends and bragged about their gains for the day and have fun talking about what you told them. Can't you pick up that they have to ask you a whole bunch of questions about your life, before reading you? Burn those candles and bathe with those stuff and see how many demons will be following you and occupying your house. I really hope you are not that stupid.

In my experience, tarot card readings are often true; however, there is the possibility that things are read into the meanings of the cards, which are relatively well-defined. The person being read for ties a certain card and its symbolic meaning in to an experience he or she knows about. It works more often than not, actually, but I do not think there is a way to correlate it on a scientific level, as subjective interpretation is also a large part of it. I've always thought that it is better to have your cards read by someone who does not take money for it, as that can cause them to tell you what they think you want to hear. About Santeria, I know nothing, so I can't tell you about that. In ritualistic magic, one often burns candles of a certain type to protect against evil or bring a certain good fortune. The bath stuff sounds like perfumes or concoctions that are meant to put you in a certain mindset. I hope some of that helps!

Santeria?

A tarot reading is only as good as the person doing the reading for you. You can have someone who is completely intuitive and can pick things up from you while just using the cards as a tool. Consequently, you can have someone who doesn't know anything and is conning you out of money by shuffling some cards around and reciting what she learned from a book.

Ultimately, I believe any kind of fortune-telling isn't that great just on a practical level. You have no idea just how susceptible everyone is to the power of suggestion. How do you know that whatever she told you is only going to happen now because you think it's supposed to? You can make the things happen that you're expecting to happen just because of the simple fact that you are expecting them.

Ever hear of Self-Fulfilling Prophecies?

When my mother was younger, the older brother of one of her friends went to a fortune-teller at a carnival. The woman told him that he was going to die when he was 21. The kid was 18 at the time and apparently carried this around with him for a while, thinking about it, agonizing over it. The kid ended up killing himself the day after his 21st birthday because he couldn't bare to see what was going to happen. That's just tragic.

Santeria is the work of Satan. How strongly do you believe that they can know these things. Don't open your mind to Satan, it makes you bait for his lies and evil!

DEUTERONOMY 18:10-13........LET NO ONE BE FOUND AMONG YOU WHO SACRIFICES HIS SON OR DAUGHTER IN THE FIRE, WHO PRACTICES DIVINATON OR SORCERY, INTERPRETS OMENS, ENGAGES IN WITCHCRAFT, OR CASTS SPELLS,OR WHO IS A MEDIUM OR SPIRITIST OR WHO CONSULTS THE DEAD. ANYONE WHO DOES THESE THINGS IS DETESTABLE TO THE LORD, AND BECAUSE OF THESE DETESTABLE PRACTICES THE LORD YOUR GOD WILL DRIVE OUT THOSE NATIONS BEFORE YOU.
