It can be bad for you. It is fattening, and can lead to calcium deposits, which can be very painful. I have never heard that it leads to kidney sotnes, although I have heard that too much iced tea can cause kidney stones.

Drinking all that milk isn’t all that bad providing that you’re not drinking whole milk. They say that whole milk might clog the arteries. If you’ve had any close family who have had stones, be careful. As a general rule, restricting your intake of calcium doesn't seem to lower your risk. In fact, researchers have found that women with the highest calcium intake are less likely to develop kidney stones than are women who consume less calcium. If there is a history than you’ll have to stay away or limiting these foods: rhubarb, star fruit, beets, beet greens, collards, okra, refried beans, spinach, Swiss chard, sweet potatoes, sesame seeds, almonds , salt, chocolate, nuts and soy products. Orange juice and lemonade with real lemon are a good alternative to water. Remember too much of anything is bad for you

I don't think drinking too much milk would result in kidney stones. Factors that cause the development of kidney stones include recent reduction in fluid intake, increased exercise with dehydration, medications that cause hyperuricemia (high uric acid) and a history of gout.

It is not that milk is no good per se. It is no good if the cows are not hormonally injected. Also the milk do not contain any presevatives. In most circumstances, milk are produced from cows that are given injections.

The food chain may show milk to be good for you. That is true. But it does not say what type of milk.

yes it can be bad for you to drink too much milk.
a person is only supposed to have 12-20 oz of milk per day.
a person can develop kidney stones because the person is consuming excess vitamins/minerals from the milk. the excess calcium forms because your body isn't digesting it. usually consumed vitamins are too much then the body doesn't absorb it because it's not needing any vitamins.
calcium deposits can develop in the joints of you limbs (such as wrist and ankle, rarely the elbow).
the kidney stones develop over a long period of time.
the time which i am unsure about.

how this was useful to you

Not necessarily kidney stones, but a whole lot of fat and cholesterol + calories. If you like milk that much, better start reducing to 1% and then to skim.

Remember that anything to excess is no good for you--anything at all. Even water has its limits. Start drinking more juices and water, and gradually cut down on all of that milk.

Are you eating properly? If so, you wouldn't crave all of that milk--milk is filling.

certain kidney stones are caused by too much calcium. plus, milk usually contains a lot of hormones and pus from the cow and, depending on the variety, a lot of fat. that being said, too much of most things is bad for you. try to stay within the recommended range of dairy intake.

No, drink A LOT of milk doesn't cause kidney stones. I used to drink about 8-12 tall glasses of milk a day, but then I got a virus. So now, I can only drink about 2 eight ounce glasses of milk a day. Although, my virus is not contagious. "Drinking too much milk can be harmful to your bowls. (pronounced Bow-Ells), and can make you constipated," says doctors Sarah Agsten and Elaine Cheney.

i don't think so. i had a friend who drank 1/2 to 3/4 a gallon a day! she's perfectly fine and has been doing it for over 10 years.

do not engage in one of those "drink a gallon in under an hour" contests. seriously like no one can do it. your body can't process that much lactose in such a short period of time, so you puke it up. watching 30+ people puke up milk at once is not a pretty sight...
