Obviously, scientists don't like the theory because it is bad science, illogical, and has no relationship at all to the scientific process.

But, it seems to me that it has about the same relationship to religion as it does to science. Intelligent design takes a matter of faith and trys to pass it off in a bland, filtered, politically corect perversion of itself. Stripped of the elements that the faithful hold nearest and dearest. If I were religious, I would consider this a gross insult, if not an out and out attack on my faith.

I'm not going to agree with them since I rather have evolution removed from schools instead of introducing religion. However, intelligent design is made to argue the fact of a creator against scientist. So your obviously not going to go into a bunch of other religious beliefs.

They are busy trying to come up with the intelligent falling concept to replace Newton and gravity.
