don't you think you are being a little vain? maybe you should learn about other religions before deciding that yours is the best, no?

Me too...I love to help others by seeking rewards from Allah (and not from those people)! It would be great if everybody acted that way, seeking Allah's pleasure knowing that you're getting good deeds in your record, and not expecting anything in return from people.
Oftentimes, people do things only to be seen by others as generous or kind, but if nobody's watching, they probably won't do it. In reality, God is watching, so alhamdulillah, no good deed is wasted!!!
Salam sister/brother!

i think it is fantastic that you have found your way to be happy. i think to path to happiness is different for everyone, and that wahtever way you get there, it is great to have found it. personally, i don't believe in Allah, but i find happiness in helping otheres, and accomplishing self goals, and i try to go about making a difference in people's lives for the better. if you see someone and you can help them, that for me is one of the best things there is, and to see the satisfaction and happiness at being helped and out of their rut or problems, i think that that is one way to find happiness. for me, that is what works, but everyone is different. i'm glad you found your path.

for me it is to have God in the centre of my life, as LORD and King of who I am. For me true happiness comes through a living and intimate relationship with God in Christ Jesus, for only then can I be a blessing to myself and to others. Christ taught us that the two greatest comandments is to 'love the LORD our God with all my heart, soul and strength and to love my neighbour as myself. This enables me to live a life wherin loving others is of utmost importance and I have learnt [through Him] to serve and love them, irrespective of race, creed, religion or other.

I think that's nuts. The Qur'an is a work of fiction; if I want fiction, Tom Clancy is more fun.
