Truth, is, at the conclusion of considering all the information, what is free from contradiction.

That is an extremely broad question.

But since it is under 'religion and spirituality' I will use it's most basic definition:

Truth is anything that can be supported via logical means or with evidence to a point where it cannot be disproven.

However... living in America, truth is something so fluid and maleable that many people devote their lives to finding it. So how can I hope to cover such a discourse with a few paragraphs?

"Truth" is a very fluid concept. What is the truth to one person, may not be considered truth to another. I guess it depend on who you ask. I believe the closest thing to truth is Gods word the Bible. If you ask an Atheist, you may get a different answer. Bottom line: if it's not tangible, it's debatable.

Truth is what is collectively agreed upon, relative to your situation or environment.

This is quite different from FACT, which is what is provable through testable, verifiable evidence.

Truth is arguable. Fact is incontrovertible.

I quote Indiana Jones...

"Archeology is the search for fact... not truth. If it's truth you're looking for, Dr. Tyree's philosophy class is right down the hall."

The word "truth" is meaningless without a referent. If someone is talking about "The Truth", without clearly defining what "The Truth" refers to, then that person is quite possibly trying to use a logical fallacy to make their claim seem stronger than it is.

Truth, to me, is like computer programming, it's the 1s and the 0s of the universe's programming, the ultimate simplest level from where all higher realities, all higher programs are born. Call it the Tao, if you like, that unnameable thing that just is, call it God if like, just don't ever put a brand name on that God, please. Everything we invent and do is definitely not any kind of absolute truth. That is no more than our personal reality, which we ourselves have invented.

Truth, the proven truth, to me is that we can be set free from the bondages of sin by the blood of Jesus Christ. There are many that are very lost, the spirit of the Anti-Christ is alive and thriving on many people and dragging them to hell. Another truth I see is that there are many people who are decieved into thinking that they are more free without God than they are with him and it is so untrue. God sets us free by the power of the salvation given to us by Jesus. We don't even know how far we are in bondage until we are free.
ohn 8:34-36:

34Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 35Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. 36So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

I see evidence of truth around us... gravity, physics, humanity, and the cosmos. Plus a really cool sunset...

Truth certainly isn't some religious jackass on stage performing healings and then turning around and asking for "love gifts".

You religious twits need a serious bitchslap of reality.

Uncertainty is Truth. The only thing I know is that I know nothing for sure. Harking back to Descartes, for all I know, everything I sense is an elaborate deception by some supernatural force that hates me.
