i know if you over condition it leaves lots of build up... the way i was taught by a salon... put a damp NOT SOPPING WET towel in the microwave in a bowl.... making it hot.. not hot enough to burn you.. but warm enough... put the conditioner in her hair while wet and wrap the towel around your head for 30 minutes.....i was also told not to use really hot water in the shower because it make your scalp over dry....which causes more build and causes oil. try getting a conditioner for split ends.. i hope any of this helps!

Yes ma'am, conditioner if used wrong can cause damage. You can put too much moisture in. If you have split ends, I suggest getting a trim every 6 to 8 wks. When you flat iron, you need to use a protectant and I prefer something with an oil base. It will help protect your hair, moisturize, and get it even straighter. Try Paul Mitchel's Super Skinny Serum. Works wonders. If you want to leave the conditioner in for awhile, thats great but don't do it everyday. Might try a deep conditioning every month!

Conditioner will not damage your hair. Shampoos can damage it because too much sulfate can be drying.

If you are getting lots of split ends from straightening, get a product that helps to protect like Rusk Str8.

To take care of the slit ends without over conditioning, Try using a dry ends serum. John Freida makes one but it is kind of expensive. I use Avon's and it is not too expensive and I don't have problems with spit-ends any more. Also get regular trims 6-8 wks to maintain a style.

flow for the little more suitable severe priced shampoo like Tigi Bedhead, Catwalk or massive horny Hair. you are able to finally end up paying $10 a bottle besides the undeniable fact that the outcomes are noticable and your hair will look alot in good structure. flow to Ulta once you've one on the city they typically have large bargains on that shampoo or maybe commerce secret contained in the mall. also, Matrix deep conditioner works large (white tube with eco-friendly leaf on it) and RedKen works reliable yet its no longer very girly smelling.

no because if you put a lot if conditioner in u hair it keeps your hair healthy looking and keeps you from getting split ends. just put it in the ends of your hair.......but not too much and if you put it all over your head do not put too much!
