This is a tough one because of the stigma society as put on the profession of being a "stripper". in general someone might say if she was a singel mother doing it to support her children the ends would justify the means, or if she was paying her way thru college. those same people may codemn a women who does it for the pure enjoyment of stripping, calling her a whore. much the same if a women has alot of sexual partners. and yet that same person if a man would do the same thing would be more accepting of it. my advice to you is look with in your own heart if you care for this person you should not let it effect your feeling for her. im not saying you have to approve of it but it is her body to do as she pleases

It's just a job, think of it that way. My daughter is a stripper in a gentlemen's club and has been for ten years. It's a long way to the top, in this town anyway. She makes between $1,000 and $1,500 per night that she works! She is also a licensed massage therapist and is studying to be a surgical nurse. She's also the mother of my six year old grandson, I couldn't be prouder of her! Cheer her on, remember she's just acting when on stage, it has no reflection of her real self.

AND this means what?

Did you like her before you found out? It shouldn't change how you feel about her, unless you are insecure about yourself.

I am sure she has a reason for doing the type of work she does.

However I don't think you should be the first to cast a stone or judge either. (its not our place to judge there is only one that can do that, and I don't think I would want to fill his shoes)

Best wishes

Treat her as you treat everyone else, with respect. Are you the moral police? I would not allow what others do have any effect on me. It is simply not your business. One never knows what another feels is necessary to do to take care of themselves. And you should not judge. If it does bother you so much, then perhaps you should pay her bills so she doesn't have to do a job you find so offensive. God bless****

What difference does it make to you if they strip for a living? that should not change a thing. You should still be close to that person.

I was once married to a topless dancer and they aren't much different from others in actuality. treat them with kindness and repect.

Try to dissuade her, it is a degraded profession|

I know they make lots of money, but what can you get in exchange for your self respect and integrity?
