okay, i just asked this and only got a couple answers, i really need to know b/c we go out all the time!
okay, if you liked a girl, and didn't know if she liked you (which i do like him) and you went out to eat with her and some friends, would you wnat to sit next to her (i would gently touch his leg w/ mine, and same w/ arms, and stuff...) or would you wnat to sit across from her so you could stare at her!

No question, you sit next to each other. Sitting across from you, not knowing if you like him, might almost put him on the spot. If you are next to him, he will respond much better to the slight affection, and then you should go from there. Its all a mental thing. Sitting next to you groups you two together, sitting across puts a table in the way. I swear these things can be symbolic. And from the sound of it, you are trying to tell him something in this arrangement, without using words.

Personally, I like to sit across the table from my date, that way I could look her in the eyes (and she could mine as well). Conversation is what I really like to have with a date -- it is the best way to get to know someone better.
Besides, if the conversation is going well enough, one can always play "footsies" like this, so one could have the best of both worlds, wouldn't you think?

In all honesty, if he really likes you, and he's not just a lustful thinker, he's gonna be scared out of his mind. It takes a lot of confidence to hide his nerviousness. Your best chance is to let him sit first, and you decide whether you want to play handies or have a meaningful stare off.

First off I would like to know if she liked me. Why is it that people find it so damn hard to open their mouth & be honest with people. But they don't have a hard time lieing to people. If you like the guy open your mouth & tell him that you are interested in him.
