It depends on your age and your skin elasticity. If you are young ((under 25)) and your skin is tight...then no.

However if you're over 25 or have looser skin, thin you might want to take your weightloss veeeeeery slow to prevent sagging.

If you are overweight by 40 to 50 pounds and it is proportionately over your body, you should not have sagging from the weight loss. Also, the younger you are, the more elastic your skin is and it will 'bounce' back quickly. If you are older, you may notice your skin is less firm than before, but it really should not sag. As you are losing the weight, make sure you do toning exercises to keep your body in the best shape it can be. I am not a professional, but I speak form personal experience.

45-50 pounds would definitely cause sagging skin--even a smaller weight loss would. The key is that you cannot diet or lose weight without exercising. Exercise will help turn the fat into muscle. If you don't exercise, and lose a bunch of weight, expect your skin to be sagging.

Whether of not you end up with sagging skin really depends on the person. It has a lot to do with genetics and how much elasticity your skin has and not so much about how much weight you lose. Sagging skin also occurs more often when a person loses weight very rapidly as the skin has little time to adjust.

Most definitely.
My mother was nearly 400 pounds! She had got her stomach stapled and she lost A LOT of weight. I think she's 180 right now. So, because she lost so much weight, and so fast, she has A LOT of extra skin hanging everywhere(arms, legs, waist).
My brother's ex lost about 30 pounds by taking diet pills and she never exercised. She's much thinner, but she's really flabby.
I would seriously recommend exercise(cardio & resistance).

Yes, that would cause skin sagging, but it won't be as bad as someone who had to lose a much greater amount. Anytime you stretch something out and then reduce it, it's not going to just bounce back. I think of it as a balloon, blow it up and then untie it and let the air out.....................Its smaller but still mishapen.

If you do it the right way then the skin won't sag. I have a good friend who has lost 152 lbs and her skin does not sag. She has used a revelutionary new cleansing technology that is doctor recommended. This system cleanses the body on a cellular level. It is all natural NUTRITION.

i think that is extreme. but i guess if you are working out while losing weight the sagging skin could be reduced by excercising.

pick up a 5 or 10 pound weight at the gym and visualize that weight coming off holding the weight in your hands helps bring home just how heavy even 5 pounds of extra fat can be

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
