Well the real stupid simple way is to take a shower as usual but wash your hair real good and through, then after you are done and your hair is nice and wet, simply comb it as straight as you can and don't touch it while it dries, this will help straighten it out.

You can also simply wet your hair with a spray bottle of water, but it takes so much time you might almost as well wait until you have to hit the shower anyhow.

I have long, thick, wavy hair so I understand your pain!

Besides having a relaxer in, there's not much of a quick way, but rather, an easier way. The way I do it is blowdry my hair (with a ionic hairdryer) with the detachable comb on it on a warm setting, so my hair doesn't "burn out". Then I straighten my hair with a ceramic flat iron on nearly the highest setting. I put hair grease on each piece about to be straightened, then flat-iron it, starting from the back of my hair to the front. When finished with the entire head, I put "Vigorol Relaxed and Straight" mousse on it to make it ultra-flat.

If you want to have it straight overnight, then put a satin-like scarf on it. My secret: get a du-rag for like a dollar at the dollar store, split hair in half, wrap the left side under the right, and the right over the left, put the scarf or du-rag on and wah-la --- straight hair. I hoped I helped honey!

My best friends hair is really poofyish, curly, and wavy. She went to the mall and got her hair straightened there. But, if you don't want to use that I'm pretty sure that you can buy a certain hair product for it to help you.

im not really sure what 2 recommend.i would
suggest probably using a straightening iron...
another suggestion would be getting a perm that
would straighten ur hair..but the perm would take
a long time.

If you don't want to hassle with it everyday, the best bet may be to get it professionally chemically straightened, so it'll be ALOT easier for you to touch it up daily at home.
