Christians-Have you found any mistakes in the bible? And do you struggle with christianity?

I am confused. I have read some of the things written in a book called Christians going to hell, which worries me greatly. Second of all many people have reported seeing outside of Heaven where many people are wearing sandy coloured robes looking depressed, and they are told they are disobeidient christians that did not enter Heavens gates. I have given up drinking, abortions, pubs, clubs, bouncing cheques deliberatly, stealing from shops, etc, as I were not a christian then.I struggle with my bad language, and having a go at people when they start things. I do not have to do anything and I get very arogant people, and I get fired up, as I do not take any s*** from people.I am not perfect, and I guess if we all had to be perfect none of us will be going to Heaven, we would be going to hell instead. Will God throw me into hell for sticking up for myself, when people come against me? Jesus said it is better to cut your arm of and enter life mame, than to be thrown into hell. Jesus said

if your right eye casues you to sin pluck it out, it is better for you to enter life with one eye than to be case into hell. I do not want to pluck my right eye out, my sight is precious to me. Will God throw me into hell if I die not confessing my recent sins. I have confessed lot of them. I love Jesus with all my heart, and the Father, byt I am so strugling with being a christian. Last night I found many mistakes in the bible that I am confussed. Please help.

There are some minuscule numerical errors and some problems translating certain words. Still the message remains the same.

Thankfully we don't have to be perfect and God is loving and able to see are true intentions.
Still you should serve God out of Love not fear.

First off, the only "mistakes" in the Bible are those made by modern day translators of the original languages of Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. Anyone who tells you that the Bible has any mistakes or contradictions has never really studied the Bible, has never studied the context of each Scripture passage, literary and historical. If they, and you, were to do that, you would find that the Bible has no errors whatsoever. Now, for your struggle with sin, you are not alone my friend. I struggle with sin every friggin day of my life. It is ok to stand up for yourself in some circumstances, just don't kill anyone in the process, otherwise I think you are alright. However, you seem to be thinking that it is not ok for you to do that, so I am suggesting that you don't do it anymore. Now, it will not be an automatic thing, this will obviously take some time for you to release this from your life. If you think you are doing wrong, than in your eyes you are likely doing wrong, so you need to give it up, but don't expect it to end over night for you. I hope that you can come to peace with yourself over this. Jesus will help you out if you are serious about giving it up, as it appears that you are. As for that book you read, don't believe what the author said because they don't know what they are talking about, so don't read it again.

I haven't found any mistakes in the Bible but I have found places where some research is necessary to fully grasp the concept because of translational problems.

Don't think you have to be perfect to get into Heaven. People will never be perfect enough. That's why Jesus make the choice to die for our sins as the perfect sacrifice. Make it more about learning about God and Jesus and less about you and you'll find it easier. By-the-way,that's what it means to turn your life over to Jesus and more of Him means less of you.

I think people are making the mistake in believing that the bible is 100% true. Lets face it, the bible was written by MEN and men are fallible. Anyone who thinks the bible is 100% is just kidding themselves. If the bible was 100% true then we would see the same stories in the other 4,525,170,264 people's religions in the world.

Also christians are known for scaring people into believing in christanity because lets face it, fear is a powerfull emotion. So when some one says youre going to hell because you drink caffinee or you drink beer, thats just a scare tactic. If youre morally honest and a good person then you shouldnt have any problems.

Don't believe these things that others have said about their visions of Heaven where some Christians do not enter. If you believe in Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God, a Divine Being, and He died for your sins, you are saved! You and I will enter Heaven and be with God forever. None of us are perfect of course. God does not require us to be perfect in order to enter Heaven. Jesus died so that His perfect, sinless nature could be upon us, His children. He payed the penalty. I love you, and God loves you, so do not doubt Him. You are on your way to Heaven!

My answer is that I do struggle with Christianity. People come against you because you seek negative attention, you lie and send many here hate mail. This is from your post "I almost died in my mothers arms last saturday before I was healed as I was gasping for air, and no I do not have asthma, it was spreading to my lungs, and I was pale as a ghost, and almost on my last legs" but yet this same day you were on Yahoo answers and in your other post under general diseases & conditions you say they have ruled out bowel cancer. Get a life!

Yes, cut out your eye now and while you are at it, get rid of your vile tounge and evil fingers and blackened heart. You forget that people look at your other postings and know the real you!
My advice to answer your question is throw away your bible and find a book on how to become a nicer person...

Just because people call them self Christians doesn't make them one. You have to that personal relationship with Christ. We're to strive to be like Jesus, but they know we'll fall. If it was possible for us to be perfect then we wouldn't have need a savior. Jesus said to turn the other cheek.

That isn't the bible and from what your telling me. It is a book full a false teachings. I suggest you read the bible for the truth about the christian God. If you have faith in Jesus, you will go to heaven. Getting to heaven isn't by works but by grace from God through your faith.

Don't worry.
Read Ezekiel Chapter 18 a few times. You don't have to be perfect. Believe it or not, intentions are more important that actions. Your intention is what defines your moral character. And don't trust any book on Christianity written less than 1000 years ago.
