I did, and I wasn't forced to do so.

But you're right... people should look at the religion itself, not the people of the religion.

Peace.

There is absolutely no chance not a snow ball in hell .
the truth is already established in my non-religious world and it doesn't include urban legend, superstitiously originated
lies and fantasy . I would have to become very weak minded from an accident injuring my brain before there would be even a remote possibility of becoming subject to the deceitful
wives tales that formal religions are based upon . To me this is immoral and people should jihad against the brainwashing perpetrated by religions as islamism the system of the false god allah.

I dont think people read your question right. But I will answer honestly.

I am a Muslim. But I think if the proof was right in front of anyone that they would convert. Its like asking if God Told you it was right and you were mislead. Would you convert? Ofcourse anyone would. If Allah told me that Islam was incorrect. Would I trust God's word? Yep. And if he sent me proof. I would trust that also.

God Bless

TurnTable (the guy a couple answers down from mine) : I dont think you know much about Islam or else you would know that Allah is Forgiving also but We dont believe you can go around and do whatever you want. Because in our religion Jesus did not die for our sins to be forgiven. Our Sins have consequences and our good deeds are looked at on judgment day

The truth is the truth no matter what we believe. As a Cristian I believe in Jesus as the Messiah. I believe that He died in order that I may live. I believe that it is through Him that I have gained salvation.... Jews believe in the same God that I believe in however do not believe Jesus of Nazareth was the Messiah. Muslims. Also believe in the God of Abraham; we all worship the same God, but Muslims believe and follow the teachings of Mohammad.... At its simplest form, this is where our three religions differ... I believe the truth to be what I believe... I am sure you believe that your faith is the true way, as do the Jews. The truth is (and we all believe this) is that one day sooner or later we will all know the truth, and there will be no dispute... To God be the glory!!! His will be done...

i'm a non-Muslim who occurs to be an atheist. For me, all religions have a similar ordinary flaw -- they require that one trust contained in the life of one (or extra) tremendous-organic deities. the shortcoming of ability to position self assurance in God is strictly what keeps me from being a Christian. it might want to also ward off me from growing to be a Muslim, the position the outcomes of my atheism can be a lot extra extreme. With all due know, the first step in the route of religion must be understanding that God is authentic, and that is something I have by no potential been able to do. Edit: I do consider "yarn whore" (above) in that average muslims want to do something to curtail the moves of the extremists interior of Islam, before you could assume average Christians to exhibit a lot interest in Islam. As an American, i hit upon the completed absence of Muslim liberals and moderates operating for peace maximum annoying. If Islam is fairly a faith of peace and love, the position are those who love peace? might want to your faith deliver you peace and contentment.....

Having never been a Muslim, I could not "revert" to Islam.

Having cleared that up, I want to know the truth, whatever that is, and however hard it is to accept and live by.

Do you have proof that Islam is the true religion?

I'm open to learning about world religions. I am reading the Qura'n myself and conversing with 2 Muslims in the Middle East via emails about Islam. Just to learn. I am Catholic myself and very strong in my faith. So far inwhat I have read, I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and He died and rose and ascended to Heaven. There were many witnesses to these events. Muhammad was only man, not divine. He didn't perform any miracles and he used fear to convert people. Jesus never used fear to make people follow Him. And through His 3 yrs of His ministry, many men left Him while some new ones added on.

I am open minded and will read anything you send me. And if I am convinced 100% that Allah is the real God and that Jesus didn't die for our sins, I may change my mind. But I have to hear it from God's mouth to believe it.

Well, if Islam is the undisputed truth, then it will be irrational to reject the truth. But until such proofs are forthcoming, there's simply no good reason to accept the religion.

Yes, if I found the evidence convincing enough. After all, that is how I converted to Catholicism.

I'm a Muslim...I know you're asking non-muslims, but I used to be Catholic.

Islam just makes perfect sense. God shows the truth to whomever He wills, so I'm so grateful that He opened my heart to see the truth! Once you see it, it's like coming from the darkness into the light! You suddenly view the world in a different light, and understand the purpose of life.

It's weird because people think that Muslim women are oppressed or something, but in reality, we are so happy to be serving our Lord. I have met so many other women who chose Islam as their way of life, and we're all so happy that God guided us!

Oh by the way, the reason people say "revert" is because we are all born as Muslims, it's our parents & society that change us to be otherwise. Islam is natural, meaning naturally, we should pray to God only, not to some other being.

I don't believe it is the truth and sorry, but evidence can't change my mind, as there is technically evidence to support and disprove every theory.

so, no, as I take the Holy Spirit's advice anyway
