There are thousands of crumbling churches in England that have are now used for non-religious purposes, like stores, restaurants, even NIGHT CLUBS, etc.

What are your thoughts on this? :)

Church or not, it's technically just a physical structure, the use of which is dictated by the will of who ever owns the deed to the property.

God is everywhere, right? Then a small clearing in the woods is just as much a place of worship as a man-made church. It doesn't matter where you worship as long as you hold true to your own ideals and your own faith.

Look at it this way: Isn't it better to use a building that's already there and not being used by anyone else than to build another structure when it's not necessary? Soon there will be no open spaces left in the developed nations...

There are thousands of unused churches in this country, the US being converted into private homes also. It's not the building that houses God, it's the hearts of the people that house Him.

I think it's a great idea. I'm not religious, so obviously my thoughts on this are somewhat biased, but I think its better then allowing them to sit there. I hate to see vacant, dilapidated buildings, no matter what they might have been used for before. I would rather see these buildings renovated and put to good use.

Well I certainly hope they fixed them up a little, 'crumbling' doesn't sound too safe.
