This is so true, the bs about "they do jobs Americans won't do" is just that Total BS!!
Roofing and construction used to be blue collar jobs that paid a decent wage. Enough that it could support a family etc. And many that couldn't go to college (for whatever reason) knew they could get a job doing construction, roofing etc.
The whole reason behind using illegals for this work IS because 1 they don't pay the illegals the same wage as an American Citizen and 2 using an illegal means not having to supply the same type of benefits that they would have to with an American citizen. No health insurance or retirement plans etc. What these companies that hire them is forgetting is you get what you pay for.
Case in point when we were stationed at Ellsworth AFB (in SD) they built a new housing area, well come to find out the company they hired (they won the bid) was using illegal aliens. The houses started falling apart, nails falling out of the walls, a woman broke her leg because she stepped out on the deck and it collapsed!! Oh and not to mention the water and electrical problems, they had to close down that housing section and go in and redo/ fix all of the problems.
But like I said you get what you pay for, these companies place bids and since most of their workers are illegal they can afford to underbid a company that strictly hires LEGAL Citizens. Last I heard the gov. was suing the company, don't know what came out of it, we moved.
Cheap Labor = shoddy work, plain and simple!!!
And NO Illegal alien labor is Not and Never will be good for America!!

I know - they're not just picking fruits and vegetables and mowing lawns any longer. No, this is definitely NOT good for America! Construction jobs used to provide a decent living for American citizens before illegals moved into the industry and depressed wages and I understand that the construction companies who refuse to hire illegals have a hard time competing for jobs because the cheap, illegal employers can undercut them every time. I wish the honorable construction companies would start reporting their competitors that they know hire illegals.

What isn't good for America is having every decent paying job outsourced. What about the major corporations who are taking their companies oversees so they don't have to pay Americans real wages? You cannot start blaming a group of people for lack of jobs in this country, "American" companies get tax breaks for leaving and everyone gets screwed-start looking around and you'll realize that government officals are the bad guys, not Mexicans.

No its horrible for america but the sad thing is peop-le only care about making money so if they hire cheap mexicans to do the work then they dont care that american families are hurt by this as long as the rich keep getting richer
