This is not just any regular teddy bear. It's a brown teddy bear with a blue shirt and sleeping cap. When you push his hand he's says the Lay me down to sleep Prayer..
My son received one of these bear's when he was born (he will be 3 in June), and he is so attached to this bear, but it's not the same bear anymore, he needs a new one really bad. He's gotten his use out of it, it's so cute it has a hole in the ear and he takes change and puts it in there and it goes to his feet, his neck looks like it's broken just hangs there, everywhere my toddle goes he has to have his bear with him. I don't even know if he would take to a new one, I have tried other bears but haven't been able to find this certain one. My grandmother gave it to him in 2004 and she can not remember where she got it at. Please if anyone knows where I can find one let me know...

I have seen these at Walmart, Kmart, Target and Meijer. My girls each have one too.

I know Kohls has the prayer bears and also Hallmark. I think we all have one....hehehe.
Good luck in your search. I know how it is when teddy #1 has seen a better day. Teddy #2 did just fine though - transition went smoothly.

try wal-mart. they have the precious moments bears, they're the same color w/ cap and shirt and everything, they look a little different but it might just be that ebay picture is weird. They say the lay me down to sleep prayer in a little child voice, they're so soft and cute

I would guess any retail store, but if that doesn't work, look for a Family or Lemstone Christian store. They may also have other versions of the same bear.

My mom got my son one like that. She said she got it at Wal-Mart but I don't think they sell them any more. I went to get one for my other son's first birthday (today!) but all they had was a bunny. Maybe you can keep looking on Ebay?

Have you tried a local Christian store? They have stuff like that. Check with your church too. They probably get tons of catalogs. You should email the eBay seller and ask where she got hers and who the manufacturer is. They could be out of production by now.

They used to be everywhere--walmart, shopko, kmart, jcpenney, macys. Check around, and if all else fails, looks like you have ebay as a choice too.

I wish I still had ours--you could have it! I think I gave it away to Salvation Army or something cause my kids never got attached to it. Good luck on your hunt.
