The hepatopancreatic sphincter (Sphincter of Oddi or Glisson's sphincter) is located near where the common hepatic and pancreatic ducts join. The sphincter itself protrudes into the duodenum (first segment of the small bowel just distal to the stomach)at the junction of the second and third part of the doudenum.

The word "hepatopancreatic" tells you where this sphincter is located. All you need to know is that "hepato-" means liver, and "-pancreatic" refers to the pancreas. Therefore, it is between the liver and the pancreas.
