has anyone ever had a boil on there face?? on the cheek to be exact??

I had a boil on my face a few years ago. I thought it was a pimple and every day it was getting worse and worse. Finally it was leaking all the time and was caving in around my jaw where it was.
Eventually they found out that it was caused by a very bad infected tooth. Talking about being ashamed I was. But that's the way it went instead. I went to the doctor first had them cut it open, stuff it with medicine and gauze after a few weeks, went to the dentist had the tooth pulled and poof--- it has never come back.

This is very important to get checked out by a doctor. A boil on the face can be very dangerous as it can lead to cellulitis and end you up in a hospital.
You may think just putting ointment will be ok but you don't want a serious infection to set up on the face.
