Primarily it's another operating system put out by Microsoft with fancier bells and whistles, some updated security, at a pretty steep price. One of the major negatives at this point is that many programs that work fine under XP won't work under Vista due to driver incompatibility. Advice? If you've got a good pc with a good amount of RAM and HD space, and all your programs are working well, then stick with XP until a year or so from now when Microsoft will no doubt issue a new Service Pack or two for Vista, and other companies catch up with workable drivers for it.

I haven't notice any major problems or heard of any major problems from Windows Vista[Any Versions]. But My opinion is that it's not worth to upgrade from XP to Vista. Because there are not that big and hug different between vista and xp. Just Look of Vista and little more organize in Vista. I have heard from a lots place and I have also read a lots articles about vista that It's not worth to upgrade XP to Vista.
1.) It's Expesive.
2.)Not that big Different Between XP and Vista
3.) There are not more software and Drivers that support Vista
4.)Need High Confrigated Computer.

So I say not major problems noted yet, but not worth to upgrade XP to Vista
Thanks
Enjoy

there are no major problems with it. but it still has some bugs. there is no point in getting it right now XP will still be used for a while and i say if it works now why change it. maybe ina few years when the price goes down and the bugs are fixed i would buy it. plus you would have to buy a whole new computer if you want vista to run good.

I would say with the most subjective point f view that Vista is an awfully expensive dictatorial spoonfeeding resources-monopolizing memory hungry piece of crap.

You won't do anything better than a fine tuned XP. Especially if you are a gamer, especially if you don't want to upgrade your computer.

If you are interested by the look of it, try looking for the "vista transformation pack", and if you are ready for a big change, try linux !

What I've noticed is that it runs kinda slow and there are no realy MAJOR problems but there are plenty of little ones. I'd wait at least six months so all the bugs clear out.
