Islam is wonderful, because God has given mankind guidance! We should all accept it!

I became a Muslim and my life is now filled with so much comfort and satisfaction! I now know the meaning of life, and look forward to a better life after my death (God-willing)!

Islam is not some strange, foreign religion...it's the same message that God has been giving mankind via prophets throughout time. All of God's prophets (ie. Jesus, Moses, Noah, Abraham, Muhammad, etc...) have been conveying the same message, which is to worship only ONE god - and of course they taught us how to live good lives as righteous people.

This life is a test, which will determine where we will be going after our death!!! Everything that we're doing is being recorded in a clear record, and the goal is to get as many "good deeds" and to avoid getting "bad deeds". We will each be judged accordingly and fairly.

Could someone explain to me how is it possible to condemn a woman to 90 lashes? Even if she were guilty should'nt Sharia Law evolve with the times? This is not the dark ages yet horrors are committed against women and female children every day of the week.

Seriously...

When I began learning the religion, I loved it, but it took me a long time to actually accept things because of the people themselves.

I never had a problem with the religion, but I argued a whole lot because I saw/heard people doing/saying things that were opposite of what the religion was about.

That's why I put people and their actions aside and took on to the religion itself.

Thankfully, here I am, a Muslim :)

I was taught a good lesson.... "People are (almost always) a burden to religion".

Peace.

I think you judge a religion by it's fruit. That's the way those who follow the religion act. History is not kind to Islam if you use this criteria.

It's more internally consistent than most of its Abrahamic cousins, and its basic spiritual emphases seem to be more in the spirit of honest love of God than, for instance, Christianity.

I think of it as another monothesitic religion like Judiasm and Christianity. In fact there is really not much of a difference between the three if you think about it.
