I think I'm in love with my best friend. He used to be in love with me too but I only thought of him as a friend at the time. Now I realize he's basically perfect for me and that I was really stupid in not giving him a chance. He's dating someone else now, another close friend and I'm just wondering if I am too late. Any advice??

Its gonna suck for all of you. Im sure hes still in love with you but for your friends sake dont do anything youll regret. Try talking to your friend first. Tell her that you only realized your feelings when you saw him with someone else. If shes not that into him then shell probably hand him over. If she is way into him then you got a huge problem.. If shes not really a friend worth keeping then just go for it.

It's never too late for a friend- the exact same happened to me too. And, eventually, I talked to him about who he's dating, and what he sees in her, and I told him that all the other guys I know don't match me perfectly as much as he does, and how long it took me to realize that. He said that guys.. if they really love someone, they will always care for them, and very often don't get over them completely. We're dating now and everything's awesome =) Good Luck!

This sounds familar . . . Oh yeah! that has happened to me too! I know it is very hard to tell your bff that you have stronger feelings for her bf, but that is the only ways you will not be trapped in misery - and that thorn bush! !) you are not too late, he prob. has feelings for you too. If he doesn't then your relationship will be akward, but aviod notes in locker, im, txt, calling, etc. face him (in a public place) and ask. but the choice is for you, are you willing to risk a relationship that will last not long, or a friendship that is hopefully forever.

well- missing 'perfect timing' or even 'good timing' sucks. sounds like your timing has past. i would've said sleep w/ him once, & move on....
but just move on. keeping a good friendship w/ him is optional. U could keep hanging around just to see if he breaks up with her. yet timing has to work with this too.

Well, honestly it always nvr too late to do anything, least is better than nvr so u won't regret later.
Sometimes it take some1 to realize wat they r missing until they lose it!
So if u really do love him go for it!
