The absolute, BEST thing you can do is go to a dermatologist. It will be the ONLY thing that will work for you. You can put on creams, gels, etc., but none of them will get rid of it.
Go to a dermatologist and ask for a "cortizone shot." It is an injection that they will place in the cyst, sounds painful but believe me, it hurts for half a milli-second.
The shot has numbing agents in it, so as soon as it goes in, you can't feel anything anymore. It also had anti-inflammatory, helping the swelling to go down, and anti-bacterial agents, helping to kill the zit.
After the shot has been injected, the dermatologist will then do an extraction to get out as much as he can.
They will clean up the area and give you a little bandaid. Leave it on for about an hour or so, and wa-la, it will be gone! I'm telling you....its all it takes.
If it isn't gone in about an hour, it will be gone by the next day!

Acne? I agree with going to see your dermatologist first. However, you can also do some research on your own to find out some causes and cures. I have included a free link for you to check out.
Don't go buying anything that your doctor did not prescribe.
Good luck at the prom.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

get pure tea tree oil in the bottle. They sell it in health stores and even in Wal-Mart...not sure which section. I had a cyst on my back..right below my neck and that sucker HURT!!!
I've been rubbing tea tree oil on it at least right before i go to bed...you should use it twice a day, especially after you shower or wash your face...and 2 weeks should be plenty of time to dry it up!!! you could put some mask on it too

go to a dermatilogist. they specialize in handling these tings when u need it fixed fast. that girl on super sweet 16 had this THING that was like eating half her face and they did something to it and 2 days later at her party you could barely tell it was ever there. and seriously, it was like half her face. it might be kinda expensive but prom is big night.

Go directly to the dermatologist.
I used to get these cysts all the time and the FASTEST way to get rid of them WITHOUT scarring is to see a dermatologist.

Maybe you should go to the dermatologist. They can put a shot in it that makes it heal super fast!
