I mean, is God responsible for every single birth that occurs, or did God just create the first humans and we are responsible from there on out. I realize, before someone says it, that you can't get pregnant if you don't have sex (besides in vitro and such). I mean, does he have a say in whether a couple is able to get pregnant; does he decide if each conception will or will not occur? Thanks.

God started the human race, we continued it. God makes souls, but He usually doesn't interfere with genetics. If you were born physically challenged....dna. If you were born impared in another way....dna/uteral problems.

God doesn't manipulate. In terms of whether a couple can conceive or not, dna determines that, but if a woman is infertile, then God can work miracles for His children.

God did put things in motion; and Free -will does mean we are responsible for allot. God does not micro-manage our lives, and he does not decide who does, or who does not have children.

Why do people, who do not believe in God, respond negatively to those who do? Don't they have better things to do?

I'm sorry! back to your question.....

God has created us material, so we are subject to the material. The animal kingdom is material. So are we, with one exception; God has created us in his spiritual image.
God has placed within humanity his spirit, which separates us from the animal kingdom.

We are subjected to the material or physical laws of nature, therefore, we are subjected to the accidents of nature.
The purpose of our being born in the flesh (material) and having to experience the accidents of the flesh;such as:
deformity, miscarriages, mutations and so on, also the good things, such as: family children love etc..is for one basic reason.... Experience!

The Angels are created spirit and have not experienced what you have, this harsh experience will give us a more loving and compassionate nature to our personality in the spirit and Yes even more so than the angels.

Take heart, you are being forged in the anvils of despair; but, you will come out victorious in the glory of God.

I realize all this may sound odd, however, I sincerely hope you get something out of it
.

Peace..........

Pregnancy is not a miracle.

Its a simple chemical reaction.

If you think that god causes pregnancy then you have to think he causes every chemical reaction (such as a match being struck to flame).

God did start it. And I believe He decides on the pregnancy. We reap what we sow, so sowing human seed reaps human flesh, and children Are a gift from God.

God has planned and is in control of all events, including reproduction. God did not put the world and its people on auto-pilot.

no of course because it is still your decision whether to engage in sex. people are the once who control with their life. God only guides us to whatever we do with our lives.
