Each day I cleanse my face with a triple action salicylic acid astringent about 3 times a day if possible, and apply a benzoyl peroxide cream to the problem area usually twice a day. 3 times a week ill cleanse and exfoliate and twice a week ill use a face mask. I'm also on a contraceptive pill that helps control acne. I should perhaps moisturize more to prevent dryness but i feel like it causes me to break out more often.
Is this a reasonable routine for the the treatment of acne and generally keeping the face clean or is there too much or too little going on here?

the following 2 testimonials can be seen at http://www.earthclinic.com/cures/acne.ht...
Angelina O, has found that applying ACV topically to her face several times a day (4 or more times) has cured her of a "very bad complexion". She reports that she applies it straight and that while it burns her skin a bit, it still works like a miracle!

Cheryl writes, "My daughter developed a case of moderate acne, and after trying a number of different things for over a year which helped very little or not at all, she started drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar three times a day and applying it topically once at night. She has been acne free for two months. It took about three weeks to clear up."

hmm, i dun think u should continue with this routine. heres what u shuld do, Get a normal cleanser and a dirt cleanser. Use the dirt cleanser whenever u wake up. Since ur face would be dirty whenever u wake up. Afternoon a about 4pm, use the dirt cleanser again. At night before u go to sleep, medicate using what u currently have. If u continue to follow ur routine, ur face will be too "dry" and too " tight" and this is bad for the face. Just usual washes will do. But not to much of them:D hope this helps

I wash twice a day with cool or cold water only, never hot. I only exfoliate twice a month, like if I am going out and want my skin to look really good. I dont use toners anymore because I feel it made my skin worst. I use an oil free moisturiser, like cetaphil or mary kay.

you should always look for any type of cleanser, lotion, moisturizer, ETC. I recommend Cetaphil Moisturizing lotion because its non-comedogenic which means it wont clog pores like other lotions do .
