I am the pagan and my husband is the athiest. We have been together for about 4 years, the last year we have been married.

Well I'm a Pagan and my wife is a Christian. We've been married for over twenty years and are still best friends.

Of course, especially if the Atheist is into Quantum Physics. Honestly, the more you learn about science the more Paganism makes sense. I've been with my beloved Atheist for 3 years. We're houseshopping now and are going to have a year trial marriage and then elope.

i think it could work. pagans tend not to impose their religion on others, in fact what ive studied tells me they believe all religious should be able to coexist. plus a pagan can practice their religion by themselves so they could do it in a differant room and just leave the athiest out of it. plus you cant really argue with the basic rule of most pagen related religions which is "an ye harm none, do what ye will" which means if it is gonna hurt anybody dont do it. i know this isnt the core belief of all pagan religions but some form of it is in there somewhere. its a very non intrusive religion.

Biblical advice was given regarding being unequally yoked with unbelievers. Since the advice in scripture was given us for our mental, physical and spiritual well-being then it makes sense for all humans whether they believe or not. An atheist denies there is a God and a pagan doesn't acknowledge our God. That is so close...I expect it would be one big ole' party for them Unfortunately they will lose out on the biggest party and family reunion of them all on the last day of earth's history. Oh well, different strokes for different folks. Mmm

I am christian and no I don't believe it will work just because he will have trouble understanding where you are coming from on the other hand how serious are you about your spirituality will you be OK if he just respects it in a distant way even though he does not believe or understand your faith life love is already complicated enough without adding the extra strain of this difference

yes. Heck- plenty of couples are Conservative/Liberal- and that's at least as adversarial these days.

The answer is certainly 'yes'. However- cultural, socioeconomic, values, racial and religious differences each add challenges to a relationship. Sometimes- challenge is good- as it helps us grow.

In this case- perhaps you'll grow together- each appreciating and understanding the other's beliefs (or lack of belief) better.

Sure. I dated a Pagan for a little while. It was never an issue. We just didn't need to discuss it.

If they are both respectful of each others beliefs and values, why not? In my apartment alone, there is a Jew, a Muslim, and a Hindu. We all manage just fine!

I believe they can live comfortably because even though they are different, if their love is strong enough it will pull them through their differences.

Maybe. If they can put their differences aside.

My husband and I don't have the same beliefs, we just don't discuss religion.
