There are some verses that tells us that the Lord will appear in the clouds and take all that have believed that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Psalms 121 (New International Version)
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;

6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;

8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

here's a nice one:

"For the mountains may move
And the hills be shaken,
But my loyalty shall never move from you,
Nor my covenant of friendship be shaken
said the Lord, who takes you back in love."
- Isaiah 54:9-10

One that you can apply to every situation in life is one that the Lord gave me several years ago when I was burned out from constantly trying to "fix" everything that was going wrong with me:
Exodus 14:14--"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."

I was going to quote all of it. But John 3:16... For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that who soever believes in Him shall not parish, but have eternal life.

Romans 12:20

Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay" says the Lord

This helps me put my diabolical thoughts aside when someone is a big-fat, mean, nasty jerk. Helps me be kind, polite and respectful to others when they're not showing that courtesy to me or people I care about. I know what goes around, comes around and I don't need to do a thing to help it along. He will see that what needs to be done is done.....even if I'm the one who needs to learn the lesson.

Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 Versus 1-8

( There is a time for everything, for every emotion, and a time for that exact opposite thing also.)

1To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
