Their teeth start coming in around 3-4 weeks, and then they lose their puppy teeth around 4-5 months old.

The incisors (front small teeth) start falling out at 4 months. The canines (fangs) and molars start falling out about 5-6 months. My puppy spit out a molar last night...he is 5 months old. In smaller breeds, sometimes the adult canines don't push out the baby canines..so it may look like a double set of teeth. Typically the vet will pull the baby teeth when the dog is being spayed or neutered.
