Just to be clear, I am asking about the indicator light inside the speedometer NOT the daytime running lights on the front of the vehicle.

Only way to do it, is pull the instrument cluster and yank out the bulb. Pulling the fuse won't do the trick.

Here's a trick for you. Take a piece of black electrical tape and cut out a square. Stick this over the light so you can't see it. That way, when you decide to get rid of it, you can remove the tape, and voila! It still works.

I did this with my last 2 cars - Ford has a "shift" light (if you have stick shift) that was driving me batty. It did the trick.
