As mothers, we worry constantly about the health and safety of our kids. I did stuff like that with my first. I used to go into his room a hundred times a night to make sure he was breathing. If I couldn't tell because of the way he was laying, I would stir him around to make sure and end up waking him up! You do start to mellow out after a while. Your worries don't go away, they just change with their age. Do you have a monitor in the crib? Some brands are very sound sensitive. That helped me out alot, because I could put it close enough to him so that I could here him breath at night. It helped me relax. Don't worry mom, your going to be just fine. It would concern me more if you weren't woriied about this stuff. Good luck.

Sometimes I have this recurring nightmare of seeing my dog brace himself just before he gets hit by a car. It ... I can't even describe how it makes me feel. But its completely unfounded. It never happened and never will. I don't know why I keep having it. I love him too much and I guess I fear losing him.

You love her, and you're afraid of losing her.
