Cheerios and food coloring. I've also heard of putting cheap toy sail boats in the toilet for aim. Not to sure about the last one, but she swore it worked, lol.

Bribery. Offer a treat for each time he successfully uses the potty and work up to a big reward (trip, new bike, karate lessons - something that's a big deal and only "big kids" can do.) when he goes a whole week with dry pants. I have to tell you, though, he has to be ready and he has to want to do it or you're just banging your head against the wall. The most important thing is to never let it become a source of conflict or punishment. I made that mistake with my son and he was four and a half before we graduated to underwear because I freaked him out over the whole concept.

Try and make it into a game, get a large teething ring and put it in the loo and make him try to hit the target. Also get a step for him to reach. You don't say how young he is, but if he is 3 don't panic, he is still young. And don't listen to other people, he will do it when he is ready.

fruit loops...they are colorful and really help with aim.... pick the color that gets dropped in the middle and have him aim for that...I have a 6 year old and he sometimes just puts them in the toilet for fun cause he remebers it as a game!!!! and also they will break down in a septic system!!!
