My stepfather was in a Blue Grass band that took the state finals back in the 70s. It was made up of all witnesses. Prince is also a JW. It would depend on the music and its content. Some elders in northern California did something the house call rap. From what my mother told me, it was pretty funny.

Well no one can stop a person from doing what they want to do, God has given us free will. But we should not listen to worldly music if it has a lot of cursing, talking about sex, and drug usage and whatnot....But we are allowed to listen to music, and we will not get in trouble for it either.

God does not want any of his human beings listening to any music that glorifies issues that God does not like this is all you go by technique of, hear to the words or the photographs on the video, in case you think of God is pleased with it, then that is okay to hearken to that kind artists music, if no longer then attempt to locate a diverse artist that doesn't sing approximately issues that glorify sin. this is the way it works, as for rap, rock, regardless of, means no longer something, it particularly is wonderful or no longer ok, relies upon on the words or photos in the video

I'm a Christian and I dont like to listen worldly music or television. How is that pleasing to God filling your head with all them lyrics or images.
