My 2 favourite sentiments that i have ever heard requested on a gravestone are by Billy Connolly and Spike Milligan.
Billy Connolly has made his wife Pamela promise to put in very small writing at the bottom of his tombstone so you have to stand on the grave to get up close to read it "get off your standing on my balls".
After Spike Milligan died there was a dispute among his family as he wanted something written on his tombstone and some of his family didn't want to put it on. As a compromise as he was Irish and is buried in Ireland they have it written in Irish on his Tombstone " i told you i was sick " i would like any of those 2 on my tombstone but as they are taken i will have to think of something else.

I would say Who ever steps on my grave make sure they better poor a beer over the grass so I wont keep asking the devil for a glass of water.
