Everyone gets reject by someone during the course of their lifetime. It happens to EVERYONE!!!

Now that you know this, get over your fear of rejection and start talking to people. Walk up to them and introduce yourself to them. Get involved in activities, clubs, functions, community events.

Believe in yourself and in the fact that you have something worth offering to everyone else. Good luck!!!

oh mann i had been in ur position for soooo long. all through elementary school, middle school, and most of high school I was quiet and shy. People don't understand that you can't just all of a sudden NOT be shy. But it is very hard. The way I stopped being as shy was by joining extra things at school. In my case in 11th grade I joined after school choir activities, like musicals, and select choir, and other choir things. The choir kids were soo much fun and i spent some time after school many days of the week with them. I met my best friends in choir, and they really helped me not be as shy. I also had to put myself out of my comfort zone some of the time, but that definately helped me. It was uncomforatable at the time, but now I am thankful that I went out of my comfort zone sometimes.

I am now a freshman in college and not at all as shy as I was in elementary school, middle school, and high school. I am still a little shy, but a good amount.

I hope this helps you out a little bit! good luck! i know that it is hard.

:-)

that is puzzling to easily end worrying approximately what human beings think of and be great outgoing. i'm 21 now, yet while i grew to become into 18 - i grew to become into an analogous way. i grew to become into my genuine self with my sturdy team of acquaintances yet as quickly as we went to a occasion with human beings from our grade or something - i grew to become into quiet. that is puzzling at that age, extraordinarily as a woman, because of the fact ladies may be very judgmental. starting to be a member of recent activities and issues are efficient yet once you already know you have sturdy traits - be effective in them! and that they're going to shine by way of - bear in concepts.. everybody has flaws - snicker approximately them. It takes it sluggish yet take infant steps.

I would like to know the same thing.lol. I am kinda quiet myself at times, but I'm slowly getting out of it. Just accept yourself for who you are & try to strike up conversation with ppl, especially those who you don't know. It takes time. There's nothing wrong with being quiet though, it keeps you out of trouble. lol
