i know new york is a expensive city. but roughly how much are trinkets? how much does a shirt, hat, etc cost in new york?

If you walk around Midtown Manhattan you will find there are places that offer inexpensive trinkets. Like I heart NY shirts and bags for $5-10.

Go to Canal Street in Lower Manhattan, that is where you can get the cheapest stuff! Shirts knick knacks and all sorts of other things, just don't buy any high ticket stuff.
You can get 3 t shirts for $10.00, hats in the $5.00 range.

you can talk most any vender down to 5$ with the art of hagaling that's the grate thing .i think it's more expensive in my home state of Jersey then ny
