Georgia has a bunch of different specialty plates to support various causes. They have different costs, depending on the one you want. This link will take you to their page (http://motor.etax.dor.ga.gov/motor/plates/) and then you click the kind you're interested in. It will then tell you how much that plate is and how to get it.

If you want just straight vanity plates with your own personalization, you have to fill out Form MV-9B (http://motor.etax.dor.ga.gov/forms/pdf/motor/mv-9b.pdf). There is a $25 initial cost, plus an extra $25 each year for a special tag fee.

The Revenue Office/DMV has vanity plates. Don't know how much they cost, but I don't think they are cheap.
