He probably wants to make things okay and not make it seem awkward. If he is going to die he wants to spend his last few moments with you in peace and not see you hurt any longer than you have to. He doesn't want you worrying about him...if he is going to be okay, he wants to just maybe hope you never know about it. Sorry to hear that!

Sounds to me like he is denial. This is the stage of learning about having cancer and you do not allow yourself to believe it;s true. I would suggest reading the following site.

He will tell you when he is ready. He probably doesn't want you being upset and sad. When he is ready , the best you can do is be supportive of him.

he probably doesn't want that to become the focus of the relationship.
depending how bad it is, he just may want to focus on having a fun and loving relationship with you for as long as possible

MAybe he thought that if it were true you would not want to be with him cause the time may be limited

Men are like that. They don't want the object of their affection to see them as "weak."
Don't mention it to him. Wait for him to say something to you.

he wants to wait for the perfect time to tell you. he also hasn't told you yet because he doesn't want to hurt you since he's "in love with you".

He may be embarrassed of what you are going to say... he may think,"If I tell her, she may not like me anymore!" Dont say anything until he decides to say something.

hes afraid you are going to leave him if he does tell you that. or that you wont understand. so be understanding to him, tell him something like that wont scare you away from him and you like him for who he is.
