boots togheter with tony&guy and the old banana shampoo body shop used to have...never pantene, dove, herbal esences or any other commercially promoted product. you should always try to buy your shampoo from pharmacies and from brands that really know what they are doing, not mass production companies that invest more in advertising than in what they put in the shampoo bottles.

Anything from a salon.

Don't use Pantene or Herbal Essences (and things of that nature)!! They smell nice, and will make your hair feel soft temporarily, but only because they're just liquid WAX. You need something at least every once in a while to clense all of that out of your hair. I like Biologique. It's pretty nice, not toooo expensive, and it's very clarifiying. Also, it makes me feel a bit better knowing that I don't have half of a candle sitting on my head.

I'm not really impressed with salon shampoos. I don't think they're good enough to justify the price.

I only use VO5 Nourishing Oasis...they smell great and really nourish your hair for not alot of money.

The absolute best is the new brand called ORGANIX. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! They have different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can buy Organix at Target, Kroger, Duane Reade, Safeway, Albertsons, etc. Its the best! You'll love it!
