Well it depends... DO you have a male and a hen together that have bred? Or just a hen that has layed a few eggs? Either way the hen is going to need extra calcium in her diet, you can provide this by boiling an egg and smashing the entire egg up (including the shell) and offering to her in a feeder dish. If it is just a hen w/out a mate allow her to sit on the eggs for a few days then just remove and discard them. If you have a male in w/her and she has layed her eggs on the floor of the cage and is incubating them leave them alone they will hatch. Do not move or handle the eggs and do not attempt to clean the cage. I've heard it's rare for cockateils to lay and hatch eggs on the floor of their cage but my pair do on a regular basis. If the cage has a wire bottom keep an eye on them and when the babies hatch you will need to put newspaper on top of the wire. You can begin handfeeding the chicks at around two weeks of age (that is if you want to feed them about every two hours) If you wait a couple mre weeks you can go as long as three hours between feedings. Day and night... sorta like a newborn baby.

If there is a male present and this egg is/could be fertile and you want the egg to hatch then you will need a Nestbox & some various things like newspaper and other fibers the tiel can make a nest out of. And lots of Extra Calcium in her diet, make sure she ALWAYS has a Cuttle Bone Present.

If there is NO male Present then you need to let her Keep the egg, if not she will keep laying and can become egg bound & this can be VERY fatal and rather quickly to. She will also need Extra Calcium either way it goes as it takes Alot to lay these eggies. You will know when she is ready to give up on the egg and it can take anywhere from a few days, to Weeks. But, once she has given you the Ok to remove it then, you can discard it. :)

If you have a male and don't want to breed, you need to boil the eggs and then give them back so she doesn't lay more. Let her sit on them until she gives them up.

depends on wether you plan to hatch them you can let mom take over or incubate them or just take them away if you don't want babies so she doesn't go broody
