Not much...don't go anywhere alone (another girlfriend doesn't count) , don't carry or buy drugs,if stopped by a cop always bribe...taking the higher ground will get you arrested and will cost a lot more, unless they like you, then you will be there for a very long time...

Basically you have no rights as an American, especially if you have a bunch of money in your pocket.

Well, they can't take part in a political gathering, or work (even if there legally) unless they speak fluent Spanish, or run for political office of any kind...
On the other hand, if they have lots of money they can live well until the money runs out.

the rights mexicans have... yes police is corrupt so BRIBE is a biggie over there, shame im a mexican but i admit we have BIG problems.. (stay away from border towns big drug trade=murders!)
