I have long wavy thick hair. I hate it!
i was thinking Sunsilk straighten-up... but does that really work? and is it true that you can get it chemically straightened? about how long does it stay and about how much is it? I dont like having to take 3 hours to straighten it every other day, so any info helps :]
oh and i was thinking about getting it shorter. to about my shoulders. its somewhere around my mid back and if i did get it strightened, would it look better short [shoulder length] or long?

i have straight hair already so i dont know if the Sunsilk helps...but i definatly know that you can get it chemically straightened...though you will probably still have to straighten it, but it wont take 3 hours to do...if you get it straightened go for a length just below the shoulder or mid-back...dont leave your hair long becuase it is very hard to mantain (personal experiance) and dont get it too short cause then you can't see the straightness and it would be a waste.

I recommend getting it chemically straightened, which does work. Unfortunately I dont know how much it is or how long it lasts.
I strongly recommend getting it cut short, I dont know what you look like, but in my experience long straight hair just washes people out. Shoulder length sounds much better.

chemically straightening CAN take up to 3 hours, and cost anywhere from 75 up to 150 a pop! You do have to come in and sit there that long again and pay the same price about every 3 months or so to maintain it. Flat irons, professional are the way to go. ask your stylist.

okay , if you want to get rid of that wavy hair dont use sun silk that is garbage , those things just dry down your hair and suck the moisture out. Go to a hair care place and ask for a thermo hair done, aka japanese hair straightening. it works , they use really hot heat to straighten your hair permantly. i was born with straight hair but mines was damaged and i used that to make my hair smoothe and silky dont believe in shampoos and conditioners they cant help your hair, remember hair is dead ,otherwise we would feel pain when we cut it

i dont know about the sunsilk...but yes you can get it permanatly straightened but it is only straight until you wash it...after that it is much straighter than before but if you want it stick straight you will have to straighten it (which will be much less time consuming that before) hope i helped!

trust me get it shorter, i had the same problem and got it cut (shoulder length), so when i got home washed it & dried it, i played with it some to find a good hair style.

Hope this helps you out some
