Get him to a vet, NOW! He needs stitches, and will have a great chance of infection. Besides, he is in pain. Keep the older dog away from him for awhile. Next time it could be worse.

he needs stitches. infection will most likely set in if you don't get him to a vet. so save yourself some money NOW and get him treated.

I've been here and when you can't afford the vet you do the best you can . Get Neosporin and apply regularly, but your vet might need to stitch so hours are crucial! if it still bleeds after an hour you will have no choice. Chances are you may need to cone him to keep him from scratching also.

I would cut some of the hair off around the cut, and treat
it with something to prevent infection. Depending on where
the cut is, you don't want your dog licking it, so putting one
of those so called lamp shades on them for a week, will
give the cut a good chance to heal.

Normally having a vet do small sutures is the way to solve the problem, you can however use peroxide to clean it out and a little neosporin on it, to allow it to heal up normal

Just take him to a vet. They'll stitch him up. It hurts to spend money, but really, it's not that much. You don't want it getting infected.
