I just attended a banquet this evening and had just a tad too much cake. What foods can be eaten tomorrow so i wont feel too much of the effects?

Note: I am a competitive athlete, so burning off the sweets isn't my issue. My issue is my body is unacustomed to having (refined) sugar in my system in excessive amounts.

Ah. Well, i guess to varify again, i'm not too concerned with the carb-burning. i'm an athlete, i've got that covered. I'm saying that the sugars from sweets can make my stomach do lurches and the day after they make me very queasy. (Hey, i haven't had soda in 3 years. i eat sweets rarely. tonight was one of those rarities)

I'm asking if there's a food to calm my stomach.

Feel too much of the effects from simple sugars? Maybe it's me, but I don't exactly follow.

You may want to take a chromium pictate supplement (about 400mg) to help regulate and stabalize your insulin levels in your blood. You could also eat slow digestive carbs tomorrow such as oatmeal and mutligrain breads, but that's not going to un-do anything you ate tonight.
