I've already lost my dad and that is the worst feeling in the world so I would say save both of my parents. There is nothing worse than loosing a friend/family member.

Your parents gave birth to you and raised you. I would show my gratitude by saving both of their lives. What good is money when you live the rest of your life knowing that you could have saved your parents' lives but wanted a few extra bucks instead.

if i could i would save both my parents, if they had a chance to come out of the surgery still being able to live a normal life, i would save them, if they couldn't enjoy a good life, and the surgery would just keep them alive and no ore than i wouldn't save them just so they could exist.

I would have my parents taken care of, because money can be replacable, but not a father nor a mother, and even though parents are not born knowing how to be parents they have been there for us always

I would rather be poor and work the rest of my life then let my parents die. I wouldnt even think twice. LIfe is so much more important than money.

I would save them both, because after paying the tax person, then what do you have left? Half, if your lucky. Besides that is the least I can do for my parents.

My mother died when I was a baby so I only had one parent. And he was wonderful but I promise you, it was no American dream!! Money wouldn't mean a thing if I had to give up a parent.

Well, you'd have had to have known my parents to understand my answer. I'd absolutely save my mother. Dad I could have let go, though - better for everyone.

It would depend if they would be perfectly healthy after the surgery, or if they would still be in pain. I know my mom would not want to be on bed rest or sick and my dad would hate living with the pain also. I would save them if they would be 100% healthy
